Drove out to Lake Oberon with Ben today on the never ending quest for new boulders. A hot tip from Sharik and Google maps had provided great hope for some kind of Mecca but actual inspection revealed that it wasn't going to be. It's best to live by "you'll never know if you never go" in these situations. On the way back we went down to Zig Zag where i had a quick thrash on my project (hard!!) tried to repeat a classic arete and worked out how to do one of the roof problems. All in all a great day.
